Hyperion Theatre Company A Romp Through Verona our seventh season of original commedia dell'arte
About Hyperion

The Hyperion Theatre Company was founded in 2007 with the idea of both creating fantastic works of art,  and also giving back to the community.  Every production that we have done has partnered with an organization to help raise funds and awareness for important causes.  Over the years we have partnered with The Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation,  The Jake Pastel Cancer Fund,  The Breast Cancer Fund,  The USO,  Autism Speaks,  Hope House,  and this year we are working with The Community Storehouse in Ridgeway, Virginia.

Our flagship production,  our original Commedia Dell'Arte series,  is now in it's seventh season.  In addition,  we have created several main stage productions in our base city,  New York.  We helped to develop and launch American Candy,  which continues to produce monthly sketch comedy shows to sold out crowds in Brooklyn as an independent company under Holly Harper.  We created The Red Tie Mafia,  an original improvisation company developed at Gotham Comedy Club which ran for over six years at various venues in New York City.  We have also partnered with international venues to tour original Shakespeare productions to Europe.
